About me

I have been taking photographs of dogs for a few years now, and love the wide variety of looks and personalities of our fury friends. Every photo session is different and enjoyable, for me, and I hope for your pet too. My aim is to capture within a photograph the pure enjoyment a dog has doing what he or she loves doing the most and, around Brighton, we are lucky there are so many outdoor spots for them to be able to run free and do exactly that.

I started taking pictures of my Pug, Little Boo, over 4 years ago and really caught the bug. I soon found myself asking dog owners if I could take a quick snap of their dog while out and about and realised how much I enjoyed the challenge. I love dogs, love photography and love Brighton so the idea to set up my service really was very easy!

All of my photo shoots include some free prints and/or photobooks and once you have had your free stuff you are free to purchase further prints of products, prices of which start at £3.95, making my shoots an affordable way to get lots of professional images of your beloved dog. You also get a 15% discount code to use for two weeks once the images are online!

Follow my blog for images that I have taken of dogs in and around Brighton and get tips on how to do it yourself. Or why not become a fan of Brighton Dog Photography on Facebook for a chance to win BDP prizes and chat to other fans. Follow me on Flickr or if you like Tweeting check out my Twitter feed.

As well as working on commissions from clients, I also head out with dog walkers of Brighton and take photos of the dogs in their care, which can be quite a challenge with a group of dogs in one go! I also attend the Brighton Pug Meetup in Preston Park to document their fun afternoons in the park and I will also be attending various dog shows and events throughout 2012, so please keep an eye out for me and don’t forget to come and say hello.

From March 2012 I will be running dog photograph workshops, to help you take better photographs of your dog. You don’t need any technical knowledge to attend!

If you have a doggie event/group/meetup you would like me to document please get in contact and I will try to come along.

I also sell my images via my stock site at Photoshelter - where you can purchase every one of my images as prints, canvasses, gifts and digital downloads. I also create photo books for clients – check them out at Blurb. Also on Blurb you can find my book of highlights from all the sessions I did in 2011 – it’s called ‘Woof on the Wild Side‘.

Thanks for visiting my site and I hope to meet you and your dog soon!
