Pubs

dog friendly brighton images3

There are so many dog friendly pubs in Brighton I know I haven’t got them all here but one day I hope to have them all listed so that you can do a “pub a day” tour for a whole year!

Dog friendly pubs are all across the city and all those listed allow dogs inside and not just outside in the garden. Any venue who just lets dogs outside does not get on the list. Visit my map to view them.

Please let me know if you and your dog did not have a positive ‘dog-friendly’ experience in any of the pubs listed and I will contact them. I am always looking for new pubs so if you know of any that are not on the list please contact me.

Thank you so much for the details on restaurants and pubs taking dogs. This was a great help in planning a family weekend to Brighton. We went to Archipelagos with our dog and LOVED it.
I would add we also went to the Ginger Dog which does let dogs eat in the restaurant. It is really a pub -great food – very high standard.
The other place we found for lunch with our dog was the Plateau which is a really nice lunch venue with a different sort of menu. I would add the web sites but this only takes basic HTML comments.
    Anyway thank you again!

What a helpful list, thank you!
Just wanted to add that I’ve been with my dog to The Cow on Dyke Road, Seven Dials. Lovely food, and a good selection of beers too.

The Foragers in Hove is lovely and make dogs welcome and their food is just fantastic. The Dyke Taven is also ‘dog friendly’ and has an excellent menu, and also The Good Companions is great to take your dogs and their food is also very good.

The fox on the downs at the top of elm grove is dog friendly, people friendly too and does great food with deals every wed. Ideal after a walk with my whippet and border collie.

The Globe was good for two burgers I had a chilli & the other half had a bacon & cheese both with fries and buzz got a complementary bowl of water.

The menu is a variety of burgers or nachos and cheesy chips but very tasty well with a visit

We are off to Brighton in a few weeks time and are taking our very friendly, calm border collie, can anyone recommend a good pub we can go with him for a spot of lunch?

Hi, it depends on what you like to eat. Are you veggie? There are so many pubs it’s difficult to choose. But I particularly like the Earth and Stars, The Prince George, The Shakespeare’s Head to name a few.
